trouble in shirogane

The
Kyho
House

FFXIV - Mateus Data Center - RP

A fairly typical house in Shirogane with a beautifully kept yard shadowed by arching wisteria trees and cooled by the central pond, the Kyho house appears to be as calm and demure as the surrounding neighbors. That is, in fact, pure deception.Owned by C'allie Kyho, the house shelters five separate individuals--all of whom are now either bonded under Eorzean law, registered as marriage partners under Kugane law or both. With people coming and going, engaging in public indecency, occasionally staggering in bloody or bruised, children being born and raised, the Kyho house is rarely quiet. And C'allie herself would have it no other way.

C'allie Kyho

C'allie Kyho -- a Seeker of the Sun who elected to leave her extensive family behind in hopes of finding excitement in the world at large. Enthusiastic about life, cheerful about almost everything and willing to do anything for fun, C'allie's life went from one constant party to... domestic bliss...?For years, she'd done nothing more intimate than casual sex. And then she met L'upus Lynx, a wild Keeper of the Moon who matched her on every imaginable level. Love followed swiftly on the heels of meeting, and C'allie shocked herself by proposing. It turned out to be the step that carried her forward into truly becoming her father's daughter. C'allie took the lessons she'd learned from her father, C'kyho Nunh, and put them into practice. From a wild party girl who rarely showed up for a second date to a devoted wife spending hours planning home remodeling projects to give one husband a little more reading space, another husband a few more kitchen counters, a wife a bigger bathtub...The change shocked even C'allie herself when she stopped to consider it, but her days (and nights) are filled with so much happiness, she doesn't even miss her little black book.Wife: L'upus Kyho

Targur Kyho ni Steelfist

Targur Steelfist, a gentle giant, became a member of the Kyho "household" a short time after meeting C'allie and L'upus. Slowly becoming comfortable with the rambunctious pair, a random visit to L'upus' cabin pushed him into becoming their lover. And some time after that, as comfort grew and the three spent time together and separately, he became a bit more than just that.Present at their wedding, participating in their honeymoon and essentially TOLD he would move with them to Shirogane, Targur found himself with a family he didn't expect. One that became cemented when C'allie and L'upus jointly proposed marriage.A little deception on C'allie's part with Kugane bureaucracy handled what was needed, and now the Hrothgar has two wives to call his own.Wife: C'allie Kyho

Thravnar Ravensun

Thravar Ravensun--a Seeker of the Sun and former gladiator--is what C'allie would call "a lucky find." Approached by the Kyhos in Ul'dah's main watering hole, the Quicksand, and lured back to their home for a night of fun, he's rapidly become a prominent figure in their daily lives, even moving into their Shirogane home. While C'allie bonded with him very quickly, L'upus took a bit longer to fully warm up to the Seeker. (C'allie found that particularly hilarious, considering Thrav is essentially her with a penis.) And yet, warm up she did, adding her name to the Kugane register as Thravnar's wife, right alongside C'allie's.Now that Thravnar has a stable life, he's blossomed into what C'allie's father C'kyho calls "a proper nunh, that boy." He's created particularly strong ties with the Kyho tribe and currently has four mates amongst the tribal members, as well as numerous children. He always, however, comes home to Shirogane and the two women who changed his life.Wife: C'allie Kyho

OOC Information:C'allie Kyho is a rambunctious miqo'te in her very early twenties living in Eorzea.I am a 30+ year old woman living in the real world.Clearly, C'allie and I have very little in common other than enjoying the hilarity that comes from her chaotic lifestyle and her willingness to stick her nose into literally anything.-- Yes, C'allie beds a lot of characters. 99% of her lovers (past and present) are NPCs because a] no one has that much time available to write that much ERP and b] it's far easier to juggle NPCs for story purposes than real people.-- Yes, if you play your cards right, you can become one of the 1% of PCs that qualify as C'allie's lovers. I don't mind ERP, but I also don't particularly hunt it down unless it's part of the character's mood or development of character chemistry.-- Yes, C'allie is polyamorous and yes, all of her partners are PCs. L'upus Kyho is played by my RL partner; Targur, Thravnar, Zale, and Rylen are other people's characters.-- No, C'allie is not looking for other partners. If sparks fly and the story is right, we can see where it goes. Otherwise, she's likely to want a friend, business contact or a moment's amusement.-- Blurring IC with OOC will lead to me politely excusing myself and not reaching out to you again. What I do in RP has no bearing on my RL and let's be honest here, I'm too damn old to deal with drama. I've been RPing for over twenty years, I've seen patterns repeat over and over again and I don't stick around when I see smoke on the horizon.-- On that note, I am NOT my character. I have a RL partner, I am not polyamorous nor am I looking to be. I'm also not interested in flirtation. We can absolutely be friends, but that's as far as it goes. Ever.-- My IG time is SEVERELY limited and usually reserved for FFXIV content, housing, GPose (I am a GPose ho, I admit it) and RP with the people who have established bonds with my character. C'allie is also not my "main" and so I'm usually on Annalei d'Latu.-- I post often on Tumblr so you can find more information about C'allie and my characters there.-- I hope you enjoy FFXIV and Eorzea as much as I've come to.

Unlike the traditional Seeker tribes, the Kyho tribe in Gyr Abania has a rather unique structure to which it owes its' profound success in surviving and thriving.Led by C'kyho Nunh, the Kyho tribe does not abide by typical Seeker rules. C'kyho's two brothers live alongside their nunh with their mates and children, as do the assorted relatives of C'kyho's five mates. Nephews, uncles, fathers, brothers, cousins--the males are kept as close as the females to join in contributing for the good of the whole. With a broad, supportive tribal structure and the close-knit love of an extended family, the Kyho tribe has ranged across Gyr Abania for several decades, holding their hunting grounds and establishing secure camping locations where they spend every spring. Children run rampant, parented by any and every adult around, and the elders of the tribe are kept in the camp's center to ensure they're protected from any possible threat.Years of living just outside of Garlemald's field of vision gave the Kyho tribe unique skills in dispersing into the desert, surviving off the land and communicating without drawing attention to themselves. With so many helping hands, even the Kyho's sprawling camp can be broken down within minutes and C'kyho runs drills every moon to ensure his tribe can scatter in case of danger.Careless affection and indulgence for the children turns into strict discipline when they reach seven years of age. C'kyho consults with his mates, his siblings, his elders and the children's parents to take note of any preferences or inclinations that might be showing. Every child is apprenticed to an adult to begin learning a trade, combining that with standard combat training and desert survival lessons. Not that Kyho life is all work. With so many miqo'te clustered into one area, there's always a contest, a drinking match, a storyteller or singer active and a few empty tents stand around the edges of the camp for any couple looking for a little time to themselves.Mates brought in from other regions provide a little genetic diversity, but the Kyho blood almost always shows. Golden tanned skin, blonde hair in all shades from platinum to brass, and blue or green eyes are Kyho trademarks, with the occasional complete heterochromia showing up. A handful of Kyhos appear with red or chestnut hair, occasionally swinging towards a much darker skin tone or violet eyes, but their facial structure tends to high cheekbones, pointed chins, large eyes and slim ears.
